Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Supervise Nursing Staff: assign and delegate duties by census and availability.
• Oversee Medication Management: monitor administration and reorders.
• Implement Care Plans: ensure plans follow policy and orders.
• Provide Direct Care Support: perform and supervise treatments as needed.
• Manage Documentation: transcribe orders and maintain records.
• Lead Shift Communication: participate in shift reports for care needs.
• Ensure Compliance: enforce infection control and safe practices.
• Respond to Staffing Needs: coordinate coverage for shortages.
• Oversee Incidents: investigate variances and complete reports.
• Manage Lab Work: monitor lab orders and physician follow-up.
