The Weekend RN Supervisor will oversee medication management, care plan implementation, and direct care support, while ensuring compliance with infection

Responsibilities

• Supervise Nursing Staff: Assign and delegate duties based on census and staff availability.
• Oversee Medication Management: Monitor medication administration and coordinate reorders.
• Implement Care Plans: Ensure care plans are followed per policy and physician orders.
• Provide Direct Care Support: Perform and supervise treatments.
• Manage Documentation: Transcribe physician orders, complete assessments, maintain records.
• Lead Shift Communication: Participate in shift reports and inform staff of care needs.
• Ensure Compliance: Enforce infection control and safe work practices.
• Respond to Staffing Needs: Coordinate coverage for shortages.
• Oversee Incidents: Investigate variances, contact families, complete incident reports.
• Manage Lab Work: Monitor lab orders, results, and follow-up
