The role emphasizes leadership, attendance reliability, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced setting, with shift reporting and compliance responsibilities throughout the weekend.

Qualifications

• Licensed RN in Texas with current license.
• Strong leadership, clinical assessment, and documentation skills.
• Ability to supervise nursing staff and manage shifts under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Supervise Nursing Staff: assign and delegate duties based on census and staff availability.
• Oversee Medication Management: monitor administration and coordinate reorders.
• Implement Care Plans: ensure plans followed per policy and physician orders.
• Provide Direct Care Support: perform and supervise treatments as needed.
• Manage Documentation: transcribe orders, complete assessments, maintain records.
• Lead Shift Communication: participate in shift reports and inform staff of care needs.
• Ensure Compliance: enforce infection control and safe work practices.
• Respond to Staffing Needs: coordinate coverage for shortages.
• Oversee Incidents: investigate variances, contact families, file reports.
• Manage Lab Work: monitor lab orders, results, and follow-ups.
