Job summary

DOCS Health is seeking Registered Nurses to partner as independent contractors providing health services to military service members in California. The role emphasizes weekend support with some weekday coverage under the Reserve Health Readiness Program (RHRP).

The clinical focus includes health assessments, records review, and readiness documentation. Candidates should hold an RN license, have 2+ years of recent clinical experience, CPR/BLS certification, and strong communication skills;

Qualifications

• Completion of an Associate or Bachelor's degree from an accredited registered nursing program.
• CPR and BLS certification.
• Minimum of 2 years of recent clinical experience as a Registered Nurse.
• Unrestricted RN license in the United States.
• Resilience: capacity to handle high-stress situations and work effectively.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Willingness to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Support Physical Health Assessments of military personnel.
• Review health history, service member medical records, and medical questionnaires.
• Interview military personnel to determine current and prior medical concerns.
• Identify any concerns that need to be addressed immediately, inclusive of Behavioral Health.
• Document interview results for readiness classification in the service member’s medical record using the proprietary system.
