Job summary

DOCS Health in Oregon seeks Registered Nurses to work as independent contractors providing health readiness services to military personnel, primarily on weekends with occasional weekday assignments under the Reserve Health Readiness Program (RHRP). Responsibilities include health assessments, reviewing records, interviewing service members, and documenting results in our proprietary system.

Completion of an Associate or Bachelor’s degree from an accredited registered nursing program.
CPR and BLS certification.
Minimum of 2 years of recent clinical experience as a Registered Nurse.
State licensure: unrestricted RN license in any US state, territory, or Commonwealth.
Ability to work weekends and in high-stress situations.

Responsibilities

Support physical health assessments of military personnel.
Review health history, service member medical records, and medical questionnaires.
Interview military personnel to determine current and prior medical concerns.
Identify concerns needing immediate attention, including behavioral health.
Document interview results for readiness classification in medical records using the proprietary system.
