Job summary

DOCS Health in California is seeking Registered Nurses to partner as independent contractors providing health services to military service members. The role emphasizes weekend work with occasional weekdays under the Reserve Health Readiness Program (RHRP) within California, using a fixed-clinic, mobile, telemedicine and deployment model.

The ideal candidate holds an RN license with 2+ years of clinical experience, an accredited nursing degree, and CPR/BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Completion of an Associate or Bachelor's degree from an accredited registered nursing program.
• CPR and BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required.
• Minimum of 2 years of recent clinical experience as a Registered Nurse.

Responsibilities

• Support Physical Health Assessments of military personnel.
• Review health history, service member medical records, and medical questionnaires.
• Interview military personnel to determine current and prior medical concerns.
• Identify any concerns that need to be addressed immediately, inclusive of Behavioral Health.
• Document interview results for readiness classification in the service member’s medical record using the proprietary system.
