Job summary

DOCS Health seeks an experienced Registered Nurse to join our team as an independent contractor for weekend deployments in California under the Reserve Health Readiness Program. Responsibilities include health assessments, chart reviews, and interviews to assure readiness for service members across multiple reserve components.

Required are an Associate or Bachelor’s degree in nursing, CPR and BLS certifications, and at least 2 years of RN experience with an unrestricted license.

Qualifications

• Associate or Bachelor's degree in registered nursing from an accredited program.
• CPR and BLS certification required.
• Minimum 2 years of recent clinical RN experience.
• Unrestricted RN license in US state or territory.
• Resilience to handle high-stress situations, strong communication.
• Team player with ability to collaborate across teams.

Responsibilities

• Support Physical Health Assessments of military personnel.
• Review health history and medical questionnaires.
• Interviews to determine medical concerns, current and prior.
• Identify urgent concerns including Behavioral Health.
• Document interview results in the service member’s medical record.
