Job summary

DOCS Health is seeking Registered Nurses to partner as independent contractors delivering health readiness services to service members in Texas. The role primarily covers weekends with occasional weekday assignments under the RHRP.

The ideal candidate holds an RN license with an associate or bachelor’s degree, CPR/BLS certification, and at least two years of clinical experience. You will perform health assessments, review records, interview personnel, and document readiness classifications.

Qualifications

Must have an Associate or Bachelor’s degree in registered nursing and an unrestricted RN license.
CPR and BLS certification are required.
Minimum of 2 years of recent clinical experience as an RN.
Strong communication skills and ability to work within multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

Support Physical Health Assessments of military personnel.
Review health history, service member medical records, and medical questionnaires.
Interview military personnel to determine current and prior medical concerns.
Identify any concerns that need to be addressed immediately, including Behavioral Health.
Document interview results for readiness classification in the service member’s medical record.
