Job summary

Trevecca Center for Rehabilitation and Healing in Tennessee is actively seeking a Respiratory Therapist (RT) to join our skilled nursing facility team. The role requires a licensed RT/CRT who can evaluate and treat residents independently, focusing on geriatric care and functional respiratory therapies.

The RT will perform assessments, initiate therapies, manage documentation, and participate in interdisciplinary teams.

Qualifications

• Graduate of COARC accredited AS or BS Respiratory program; Licensed as RRT or CRT.
• Licensed in the state where practicing; BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Completes assessments and implements respiratory techniques for rehab patients with respiratory and non-respiratory illnesses.
• Initiate therapies, maintain patient records, operate, check and assemble equipment.
• Perform bedside treatments and complete in-services for nursing staff quarterly.
• Maintain daily, weekly and monthly documentation and attend IDT meetings.
