Job summary

Trevecca Center for Rehabilitation and Healing is seeking a full-time Respiratory Therapist to join our skilled nursing team serving geriatric residents. The role includes assessments, initiating therapies, and maintaining records, with independent practice and IDT participation expected.

Requirements include COARC-accredited AS/BS in Respiratory, active state licensure (RRT or CRT), and BLS certification. Schedule requires 4–6 hour shifts, Saturdays and Sundays, with potential up to 8 hours

Qualifications

• Graduate of COARC accredited AS or BS Respiratory program. Licensed as RRT or CRT.
• Licensed in the state in which practicing; BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Completes assessments and implements respiratory techniques to progress rehab patients.
• Initiate therapies, maintain patient records, operate, check, and assemble equipment.
• Complete bedside treatments and in-services for nursing staff quarterly.
• Responsible for daily, weekly and monthly documentation; attend IDT meetings.
