Job summary

Primrose Retirement Communities is hiring a Weekend-Only Resident Assistant to provide basic care and assist residents with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, dressing, meal services, and light housekeeping.

You will collaborate with the nursing team to support residents’ physical, mental, and psycho-social well-being, participate in social events, and help create a compassionate, safe living environment across day and evening shifts.

Qualifications

• Experience in long-term care or assisted living environment preferred.
• Current CNA or State Trained CNA certification per state regulations.
• CPR/First Aid certification maintained per state requirements.
• Knowledge of Alzheimer's dementia and related memory impairments preferred.
• Ability to work well as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic care to residents and assist with daily living activities.
• Assist with personal hygiene, dressing, meal services, and light housekeeping.
• Support residents with laundry and social-recreational activities.
• Collaborate with nursing staff and other departments to ensure resident well‑being.
• Maintain compassionate, respectful interactions with residents and families.
