Job summary

Primrose Retirement Communities is hiring a Resident Assistant to provide basic care to residents and assist with daily living activities in a warm, supportive setting.

The RA will assist with personal hygiene, dressing, housekeeping, laundry, social activities, and meals while supporting the nursing team and coordinating with residents' families to ensure well-being. Evening shifts available, part-time or full-time options, with a strong emphasis on compassion and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Experience in long-term care or assisted living environment is preferred.
• Current certification as a Nursing Assistant or State Trained Nursing Assistant as per state regulations.
• Maintain CPR/First Aid certification per state regulations.
• Knowledge of Alzheimer’s Disease and related memory impairments is preferred.
• Demonstrates ability to work as a team.
• Able to work weekends and holidays on a rotating basis.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic care to residents and assist with daily living activities (hygiene, dressing, housekeeping, laundry).
• Assist with social-recreational activities and meal services.
• Support the nursing department, other departments, medical professionals, residents and families to promote well-being.
• Collaborate with team to deliver efficient and compassionate care.
