Job summary

Primrose Retirement Communities is hiring a Resident Assistant to provide basic care and assist residents with daily living activities. The RA supports personal care, hygiene, dressing, housekeeping, meals, and social activities, working with the nursing team to promote residents’ well-being.

The role requires a Nursing Assistant certification, CPR/First Aid in accordance with state regulations, and experience in long-term care or assisted living is preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience in long-term care or assisted living preferred.
• Current Nursing Assistant certification per state regulations.
• CPR/First Aid certification per state regulations.
• Knowledge of Alzheimer’s disease and other dementias preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic care to residents and assist with daily living activities.
• Assist with personal hygiene, dressing, housekeeping, laundry, meals and other duties.
• Support the nursing department and collaborate with staff, medical professionals, residents and families.
