Job summary

Primrose Retirement Communities is hiring a Resident Assistant to provide compassionate basic care and assist residents with daily living activities in a long-term care setting. You will help with personal hygiene, dressing, meals, housekeeping, and social activities, supporting the nursing team and families as needed.

The role requires excellent people skills, CPR/First Aid certification, and a willingness to work weekends and holidays on a rotating schedule.

Qualifications

• Experience in long-term care or assisted living preferred.
• Nursing Assistant certification per state regulations.
• CPR/First Aid certification as required by state regulations.
• Knowledge of Alzheimer’s disease and related memory impairments preferred.
• Demonstrates ability to work as a team.
• Able to work weekends and holidays on a rotating basis.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic resident care and assist with daily living activities.
• Assist with hygiene, dressing, housekeeping, laundry, and meal services.
• Support social and recreational activities and resident engagement.
• Collaborate with nursing, other departments, and families to support resident well-being.
• Contribute to efficient operations and resident safety.
