Job summary

Primrose Retirement Communities is seeking a dedicated Resident Assistant to provide basic care and assist residents with daily living activities. The RA supports personal hygiene, dressing, housekeeping, laundry, meals and social activities within the community.

Qualifications

• Experience in long-term care or assisted living preferred.
• Current certification as a Nursing Assistant or State Trained Nursing Assistant.
• Maintain CPR/First Aid certification per state regulations.
• Knowledge of Alzheimer’s Disease and related memory impairments preferred.
• Demonstrates ability to work as a team.
• Able to work weekends and holidays on a rotating basis.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic care to residents and assist with daily living activities.
• Assist with personal hygiene, dressing, housekeeping, laundry, and meal services.
• Support social and recreational activities for residents.
• Collaborate with nursing staff, other departments, pros and families to ensure well-being.
