Job summary

Primrose Retirement Communities is hiring a Resident Assistant to provide basic care to residents and assist with daily living activities. The RA works closely with the nursing team to support residents' physical, mental, and psycho-social well-being.

We value compassion, excellent people skills, CPR/First Aid certification per state requirements, and weekend/holiday availability. Full-time or part-time shifts are available, with day and evening options to fit your schedule.

Qualifications

Experience in a long-term care or assisted living environment is preferred.
Maintain CPR/First Aid certification per state regulations.
Knowledge of Alzheimer’s Disease, other dementias and related memory impairments is preferred.
Demonstrates ability to work as a team.
Able to work weekends and holidays on a rotating basis.

Responsibilities

Provide basic care to residents including personal hygiene, dressing, housekeeping and daily living activities.
Assist with meals, social-recreational activities, laundry and related services.
Collaborate with nursing staff, other departments, residents and families to support well-being.
