Job summary

Community Health Resources in Willimantic, CT, seeks a Recovery Support Specialist for the REST Center. This part-time role offers 16 hours/week, with Saturday/Sunday 4pm-12am shifts, aimed at crisis stabilization and recovery support within a 24/7 program.

You'll work with a multidisciplinary team to develop person-centered plans, provide crisis intervention, and connect clients to community resources while maintaining documentation and collaborating with supports.

Qualifications

• Experience with mental health or substance use recovery required.
• Certified Peer Support & Recovery Specialist (CPSRP) or CCAR certification or equivalent within 6 months.
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients in identifying and advocating recovery goals.
• Provide program-specific assessments and develop individualized plans.
• Offer crisis intervention and de-escalation as needed.
• Maintain documentation in compliance with program standards.
• Collaborate with clients and supports to link to community resources.
