Job summary

GPM Investments, LLC is seeking an Assistant Manager for a high-energy convenience store in Tennessee. You will support the Store Manager with daily operations, run the register, hire and train a strong team, and ensure excellent customer service on every shift.

This role requires open availability for weekends, holidays, and second or third shifts. You’ll lead by example, manage schedules, oversee inventory and merchandising, and help drive sales while maintaining a clean, safe, welcoming store

Qualifications

• Must have open availability including weekends, holidays, and second/third shifts.
• Minimum age 21+ with valid driver’s license and transportation.
• Proficient in English with basic math skills.
• Willing to complete Topshelf Manager Training in Tennessee.
• Food Safety Certification required or able to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Support the Store Manager in day-to-day operations.
• Run the register and assist customers with speed, accuracy, and a great attitude.
• Coach and motivate team members to upsell products and promotions.
• Help hire, train, and lead a high-performing team focused on customer service and store success.
• Step in as acting manager when the Store Manager is off.
• Handle inventory, ordering, and merchandising to keep the store stocked.
• Maintain a clean, welcoming store environment including restrooms and pumps.
• Create and manage team schedules to ensure full coverage.
• Perform daily cash handling, deposits, and oversee store financials.
• Provide feedback and leadership to motivate the team to excel.
• Other duties as assigned
