GPM Investments, LLC is seeking an Assistant Manager for a high-energy convenience store. You will support the Store Manager, supervise cash handling, drive customer service, and lead a sales-focused team on a busy shift schedule.

The role emphasizes reliability, weekend/holiday availability, and the ability to coach staff while maintaining store standards and operations. Growth opportunities exist toward store management paths.

Qualifications

• Open availability including weekends/holidays
• Reliable transportation with driver's license and insurance
• Physical readiness for cleaning, stocking, and general duties
• Minimum age 18+ years
• Strong English communication and basic math skills
• Willingness to learn and adapt to retail leadership
• Food safety certification (or ability to obtain)

Responsibilities

• Support the Store Manager in day-to-day operations.
• Run the register and assist customers with speed and accuracy.
• Coach and motivate team members to upsell and provide excellent service.
• Help hire, train, and lead a high-performing team.
• Step in as acting manager when the Store Manager is off.
• Handle inventory, ordering, and merchandising to stay stocked.
• Maintain a clean, welcoming store, including restrooms and pumps.
• Create and manage team schedules for full coverage.
• Perform daily cash handling and deposits; oversee store financials.
• Provide feedback and leadership to motivate the team to excel.
• Other duties as assigned
