GPM Investments LLC is seeking an Assistant Manager for our convenience store to lead daily operations and customer service on a fast-paced shift. You will work closely with the Store Manager, run the register, and help hire and develop a high-performing team.

Open availability is required, including weekends, holidays, and second or third shifts. This role emphasizes leadership, sales, and inventory management to keep the store thriving and guest-focused.

Qualifications

• Proven customer service experience in fast-paced retail.
• Demonstrated leadership and team supervision abilities.
• Experience with cash handling and closing procedures.
• Knowledge of inventory control and merchandising practices.
• Ability to train and motivate staff to upsell and deliver great service.

Responsibilities

• Assist Store Manager with daily operations and guest service.
• Operate registers, process transactions, and handle deposits accurately.
• Coach team members to upsell promotions and improve service levels.
• Recruit, train, and lead a capable team focused on store success.
• Step in as acting manager when the Store Manager is unavailable.
• Manage inventory, ordering, and merchandising to keep stock full.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming store environment.
• Create and adjust team schedules to ensure full coverage.
• Provide leadership and feedback to drive performance.
• Support cash handling and store financial oversight.
