GPM Investments, LLC is seeking an Assistant Manager for a high-energy convenience store. The role requires open weekend/holiday availability and willingness to work second or third shifts.

You will support the Store Manager, run the register, coach staff, and ensure a clean, well-stocked store with strong customer service. Responsibilities include hiring/training a team, scheduling, cash handling, and supervising daily operations.

Qualifications

• Open availability for weekends, holidays, and second or third shifts.
• Reliable transportation with valid driver's license and insurance to complete bank deposits.
• Physical readiness for cleaning, restrooms, and outdoor areas like pumps.
• Minimum age 18 years old.
• Proficient in English with basic math skills.
• Willing to learn and certification: Food Safety Certification.

Responsibilities

• Support the Store Manager in day-to-day operations.
• Run the register and assist customers with speed and accuracy.
• Coach and motivate team members to upsell products and promotions.
• Help hire, train, and lead a high-performing team focused on customer service.
• Step in as acting manager when the Store Manager is off.
• Handle inventory, ordering, and merchandising to keep the store stocked.
• Maintain a clean, welcoming store including restrooms, trash areas, and pumps.
• Create and manage team schedules for full coverage.
• Perform daily cash handling, deposits, and oversee store financials.
• Provide feedback and leadership to motivate the team to excel.
• Other duties as assigned
