Job summary

CTDI Careers in Indiana is seeking a Shift Production Supervisor to coordinate and direct production workers, ensure targets are met, and maintain quality while driving P&L results. You will supervise operations on assigned shifts, assign tasks, monitor KPIs, report performance, and support incident escalation while upholding safety and company policies.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of leadership experience in materials/distribution preferred.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making with a focus on results and improvement.
• Detail-oriented and organized, able to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects.
• Proficient leadership and interpersonal abilities with clear communication.
• Experience with UKG and OSHA knowledge is a plus.
• Associate degree preferred or equivalent work experience.

Responsibilities

• Supervise production workers operating machinery and packaging products.
• Assign daily tasks, support challenges, and seek improvements in operations.
• Meet daily KPIs and report performance to align with customer expectations.
• Lead shift transitions with clear, concise communication for the next shift.
• Provide first level support for escalated issues during the shift.
• Maintain production quality by monitoring performance metrics.
• Communicate with management and customers to meet SLAs and resolve issues.
• Address labor relations and assist HR with disciplinary actions as needed.
• Review timecards and resolve discrepancies in line with policies.
• Monitor temporary labor attendance and performance escalations.
• Foster a positive work environment and support team collaboration.
• Assist with P&L forecasting and labor planning and scheduling.
• Prepare and deliver daily performance feedback and reports.
• Coordinate workflow and ensure supplies meet demand.
• Provide training and support on procedures and processes.
• Ensure health and safety compliance and a safe working environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned to support business needs.
