Job summary

Marvin is hiring a Weekend Controls Technician to support production equipment in our Kansas City area facility. You will troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and PLC systems, perform programming changes, and contribute to reliability improvements across the line.

The role begins with day-shift training for up to 2 months, then transitions to the Weekend shift (Friday–Sunday, 6:00am–6:00pm). We offer day-one health insurance, PTO, a wellness account, and a $5,000 sign-on bonus.

Qualifications

• Two years of related experience required.
• Associate degree in a technical field strongly preferred.
• Must obtain forklift and aerial platform licenses.
• Experience with EAM software and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and PLC-related issues on production equipment.
• Analyze equipment performance and implement repairs or programming changes.
• Document repairs and preventative maintenance in the work order system.
• Operate and troubleshoot servo motors and VFDs; support plant PLCs.
