Job summary

Marvin is seeking a Weekend Controls Technician at our Kansas City, KS facility to troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and PLC problems on production machines. The role trains on the day shift for up to 2 months before transitioning to a Weekend shift.

Work Fri-Sun 6:00am-6:00pm, with a $5,000 sign-on bonus, health insurance from day one, and a comprehensive benefits package including a 401(k) match and profit sharing.

Qualifications

2 years of experience in a related role.
Associate degree in a technical field strongly preferred.
Ability to obtain forklift and aerial platform licenses.
Experience with Enterprise Asset Management software and MS Office.

Responsibilities

Observe functioning of equipment to detect hazards and service needs.
Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical and PLC issues on production machines.
Document repairs and preventative maintenance in the plant using EAM.
Set up servo controls, VFD operations and monitor system performance.
Collaborate with CEPG on machine improvements.
Maintain PLC backups and assist with troubleshooting plant-wide electrical problems.
