Job summary

Marvin is seeking a Weekend Controls Technician to troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues on production equipment, including PLC programming changes for reliability. The role trains on day shift for up to 2 months before moving to a weekend shift.

The position offers a comprehensive benefits package, sign-on bonus, and opportunities to work on Mule factory equipment in an air-conditioned facility in Kansas City, KS.

Qualifications

• 2 years experience in a closely related role is required.
• Associate’s degree in a technical-related field is strongly preferred.
• Must be able to obtain forklift and aerial platform licenses.
• Experience with Enterprise Asset Management software and Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Observe equipment to detect hazards and determine service needs.
• Use ladder logic programming with Allen Bradley RS Logix 500/5000.
• Document repairs and preventative maintenance in the plant's system.
• Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical and PLC-related problems.
• Collaborate on machine improvements with CEPG.
