Job summary

Marvin is seeking a Weekend Controls Technician to troubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical, and PLC-related issues on production machines in our Kansas City area facility. The role includes programming changes, diagnostics, and collaboration with maintenance teams to improve reliability.

Training on the day shift for up to 2 months precedes the Weekend shift (Fri–Sun, 6:00am–6:00pm). We offer health insurance from day one, paid time off, a company-funded well-being account, and a $5,000

Qualifications

• 2 years of related experience required.
• Associate degree in a technical field preferred.
• Must obtain forklift and aerial platform licenses.
• Experience with Enterprise Asset Management software and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and PLC issues on production equipment.
• Perform repairs and programming changes to improve reliability.
• Document repairs and set-points in the system.
• Operate and test servo motors and VFDs.
• Collaborate with CEPG on machine improvements.
