Job summary

Marvin is seeking a Weekend Controls Technician to diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical issues on production machines. The role involves PLC programming changes and maintaining system performance. Training on day shift for up to 2 months before transitioning to the Weekend shift.

Work schedule is Friday to Sunday, 6:00am–6:00pm, with a sign-on bonus of $5,000. Marvin offers health insurance from day one, PTO, holidays, and a wellness account.

Qualifications

• Two or more years of experience in a closely related role.
• An Associate’s degree in a technical field is strongly preferred.
• Must be able to obtain forklift and aerial platform licenses.
• Experience with Enterprise Asset Management software and Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and PLC-related issues on production equipment.
• Diagnose equipment faults and perform repairs.
• Program and adjust PLCs (RS Logix 500/5000) and document changes.
• Maintain program backups and log work in the maintenance system.
• Collaborate with CEPG on machine improvements and upgrades.
