Marvin is seeking a Weekend Controls Technician to troubleshoot electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems on production machinery. You’ll work on PLC programming (Allen‑Bradley RS Logix 500/5000), use a digital multimeter, and document repairs in the EAM system.

The role starts on day shift for training, then moves to the weekend shift, with health insurance and a sign-on bonus. The position requires 2 years of related experience and an Associate’s degree in a technical field.

Formación

• 2 years of related experience required.
• Associate's degree in a technical field preferred.
• Forklift and aerial platform licenses required.
• Experience with EAM software and MS Office proficiency.

Responsabilidades

• Inspect equipment and identify electrical/mechanical issues.
• Troubleshoot via PLC programming and ladder logic (Allen-Bradley).
• Document repairs and preventatives in the work order system (EAM).
• Trace problems using electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic components.
• Discuss performance and improvement ideas with staff.
• Back up PLC/software programs and maintain documentation of set-points.
• Evaluate new equipment performance under operating conditions.
• Set up servo controls and VFD operations.
• Troubleshoot motors (servo, DC, induction).
• Collaborate with CEPG on machine improvements.
• Provide PLC support across the plant.
• Maintain accurate records of parameters for equipment.
