Job summary

Marvin is seeking a Weekend Controls Technician to troubleshoot and repair production equipment, including PLCs, across the plant. You will analyze equipment, program adjustments, and document maintenance activities to improve reliability.

The role starts on day shift for up to 2 months, then transitions to the Weekend shift (Fri–Sun, 6:00am–6:00pm). Includes a $5,000 sign-on bonus and robust benefits.

Qualifications

• 2-years experience in a closely related role is required.
• Associate’s degree in a technical-related field is strongly preferred.
• Must be able to obtain forklift and aerial platform licenses.
• Enterprise Asset Management software experience and ability to utilize Microsoft Office Suite programs proficiently.

Responsibilities

• Observe functioning of installed equipment to detect hazards and repair needs.
• Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and PLC issues to improve production reliability.
• Document repairs and preventative maintenance using the workorder system (EAM).
• Maintain backups of programs for electrical devices.
