Job summary

Marvin is seeking a Weekend Controls Technician to troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues on production equipment, including PLC programming changes using RSLogix 500/5000. The role requires hands-on maintenance, documentation in EAM, and close collaboration with the CEPG on machine improvements.

The position offers health insurance from day one, PTO, a wellness account, and a $5,000 sign-on bonus. Friday–Sunday shift with potential training on day shift initially.

Qualifications

• 2 years of experience in a closely related role.
• Associate’s degree in a technical-related field preferred.
• Must be able to obtain forklift and aerial platform licenses.
• Experience with Enterprise Asset Management software and proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Observe and troubleshoot electrical and mechanical components on production machines.
• Use ladder logic programming with RSLogix 500/5000 to modify PLC programs.
• Document repairs and preventive maintenance in the EAM system.
• Troubleshoot servo drives, motors, and PLCs.
• Collaborate with CEPG on machine improvements.
• Maintain set-points and parameters for equipment.
