Job summary

Marvin is seeking a Weekend Controls Technician to troubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical, and PLC systems on production equipment. The role requires ladder logic experience with Allen Bradley RSLogix 500/5000, plus familiarity with EAM workorder processes.

The position includes a Friday–Sunday day shift initially, with days and hours defined in the posting, and a sign-on bonus. Marvin offers health insurance from day one, PTO, holidays, and a robust well-being program.

Qualifications

• Two years of experience in a closely related role.
• Associate’s degree in a technical-related field preferred.
• Forklift and aerial platform licenses required.
• Experience with Enterprise Asset Management software and MS Office proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Observe equipment to detect hazards, problems, and the need for service or replacement of electrical and mechanical components.
• Proficiently use ladder logic programming with Allen Bradley RSLogix 500/5000.
• Document repairs and preventative maintenance in the plant using the workorder system (EAM).
• Troubleshoot electrical, electronic, pneumatic, and hydraulic problems; perform related repairs.
• Back up programs for electrical devices and assist with PLC support across the plant.
