Job summary

Marvin is seeking a Weekend Controls Technician to troubleshoot and repair production machines, focusing on electrical, PLC, and mechanical issues. The role includes programming changes using RS Logix and maintaining equipment with EAM-based documentation.

You will train on days for up to two months, then move to a weekend shift. We offer health insurance from day one, PTO, a wellbeing account, and a $5,000 sign-on bonus to join our team.

Qualifications

• 2 years in a closely related role is required.
• Associate’s degree in a technical-related field is strongly preferred.
• Must be able to obtain forklift and aerial platform licenses.
• Experience with EAM software and MS Office proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Observe equipment to detect hazards and coordinate repairs or replacements.
• Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and PLC problems on production machines.
• Document repairs and PMs in the workorder system (EAM).
• Use servo controls and set up VFD operations and parameters.
• Assist with PLC support across the plant and collaborate with CEPG.
