Job summary

Marvin is seeking a Weekend Controls Technician to troubleshoot and repair production equipment, including PLCs, servo drives, and electrical systems. The role trains on days for up to two months, then moves to weekend shifts.

The job requires PLC experience with Allen Bradley RSLogix, electrical/ mechanical troubleshooting, and familiarity with EAM software, plus a willingness to obtain forklift licenses. Marvin offers comprehensive benefits and a strong wellness program.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in a closely related role
• Associate’s degree in a technical-related field strongly preferred
• Must be able to obtain forklift and aerial platform licenses
• Experience with Enterprise Asset Management software and MS Office proficiency

Responsibilities

• Observe and diagnose equipment to detect hazards and failures and determine repairs
• Utilize ladder logic programming with Allen Bradley RSLogix 500/5000 to perform PLC changes
• Document repairs and preventive maintenance in the work order system (EAM)
• Troubleshoot electrical, electronic, pneumatic, and hydraulic components
• Collaborate with CEPG on machine improvements and setup Servo controls
• Properly document set-points and operating parameters for equipment
