Marvin is seeking a Weekend Controls Technician to troubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical, and PLC systems on production equipment in our Kansas City area plant. The role involves advanced diagnostics, programming changes, and collaboration with maintenance teams to improve machine reliability.

The ideal candidate has 2 years in a related role, an associate’s degree or technical equivalent, and the ability to obtain forklift and aerial platform licenses.

Qualifications

• 2 years of related experience is required.
• Associate’s degree in a technical field strongly preferred.
• Must obtain forklift and aerial platform licenses.
• Experience with Enterprise Asset Management software and MS Office is expected.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and PLC-related issues on production equipment.
• Analyze equipment performance and implement repairs for reliability.
• Utilize ladder logic for PLC programming changes and updates.
• Document repairs, set-points, and parameters clearly for future reference.
• Collaborate with maintenance and CEPG on machine improvements.
