Job summary

Marvin is hiring a Weekend Controls Technician to troubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical, and PLC issues on production equipment at our Kansas City plant. You will analyze faults, perform repairs, and apply PLC programming changes to improve reliability.

The role requires familiarity with Allen-Bradley PLCs, RSLogix 500/5000, and EAM workflows, plus the ability to document activities and support maintenance. A technical degree and forklift/aerial certification are preferred.

Qualifications

• 2 years of experience in a closely related role.
• Associate’s degree in a technical-related field preferred.
• Forklift and aerial platform licenses obtainable.
• Experience with Enterprise Asset Management software and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and PLC issues on production equipment.
• Analyze equipment to diagnose problems and perform repairs.
• Make PLC programming changes for production reliability.
• Document repairs and preventative maintenance in the work-order system.
• Verify system performance under actual operating conditions.
• Set up servo controls and drive parameters; operate servo motors.
• Collaborate with CEPG on machine improvements.
• Provide PLC support across the plant and assist maintenance.
