Job summary

MedStar Health at Franklin Square Medical Center is seeking a part-time Patient and Guest Relations Representative for weekend shifts (Saturday & Sunday, 6:30am-3:00pm) in a 24/7 environment. You will greet patients and visitors, provide information and directions, and help resolve questions and concerns across hospital areas.

The role includes issuing IDs, coordinating transportation, monitoring lobby areas, and supporting departments with guest services.

Qualifications

Verbal and written communication skills.
Strong interpersonal skills.
Organization and the ability to handle rapid multi-task situations.
General office experience strongly preferred.
Basic computer skills preferred.

Responsibilities

Contributes to the achievement of department goals and adheres to policies and safety standards.
Welcomes patients and visitors and provides information and directions within the hospital.
May coordinate transportation and escort patients/visitors.
May issue photo identification badges to associates, vendors and contractors.
Oversees facility entrances offering assistance to guests.
May arrange overnight accommodations and assist with wake-up calls and rides.
Monitors waiting areas and supports doctors, family members and patients.
May handle patient/visitor complaints and escalate as needed.
May orient volunteers to information desks and participate in committees.
Performs other duties as assigned.
