Job summary

Mount Sinai Brooklyn is seeking a Part-Time Supervisor for Patient Access Services to oversee daily registration, insurance capture, and financial clearance across assigned areas. You will lead frontline staff, monitor performance, and coordinate with HR for onboarding.

The role requires at least 1–2 years in patient access or hospital registration, strong customer service, and familiarity with EPIC; you will ensure compliance with HIPAA and payer requirements while supporting a positive patient

Qualifications

• Experience in Patient Access, registration, or front-end revenue cycle operations.
• Hospital setting experience preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
• EPIC familiarity preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily Patient Access activities to ensure timely registration and documentation.
• Monitor staff productivity and provide real-time coaching.
• Escalate issues to the Manager and assist with staffing coverage.
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA, payer requirements, and policies.
• Supervise staff performance and participate in onboarding/training.
