Qualifications

• High School Diploma required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 1+ years of inpatient behavioral health admissions experience preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal and phone skills; ability to understand financial/insurance terminology.

Responsibilities

• Complete intake call sheets for referrals.
• Gather demographic, clinical and financial information.
• Ensure information is accurate before transmission to staff.
• Request evaluations from ESP/ED/Referrer as appropriate.
• Assist in interpretation of lab values and diagnostics as needed.
• Notify units of pending admissions and send documentation to relevant teams.
• Maintain bed availability and update external bedboard regularly.
