Pembroke Hospital is a 120-bed acute care, inpatient behavioral health facility located south of Boston, in Pembroke, MA. The Intake Coordinator is responsible for working collaboratively in the admissions department responding to inpatient referral requests from clinicians, patients, family members, managed care company staff, and others. Intake Coordinators must answer calls entering the queue (or coming in on direct extensions) and process demographic, clinical and insurance information in a manner consistent with service excellence and that ensures efficient and effective call processing, leading to a patient admission to Pembroke Hospitals program or providing appropriate information to the caller.
