Job summary

North Freeze Dry is seeking a Packaging Operator to run the packaging line at our Little Falls, MN facility. You will operate packaging equipment, load recipes, and ensure quality and productivity according to the production plan.

The ideal candidate will be bilingual (English/Spanish), physically capable of lifting up to 50 pounds, and willing to obtain forklift certification if needed. This is a full-time, on-site position with benefits.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Must be bilingual in English and Spanish.
• (2+) Years working experience in a manufacturing/production facility preferred
• Ability to follow proper food safety, quality and workplace safety procedures and requirements.
• Demonstrated ability to follow oral and written instruction.
• Ability to lift to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods of time.
• Forklift certification and experience or willing to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Operates packaging process and machinery according to manuals and quality criteria.
• Produces the required quantity of batched recipes within production plan.
• Inspects raw and in-process materials for quality and recipe compliance.
• Maintains logs of produced units and errors for rejects.
• Performs pre-operational equipment maintenance and inspections.
