Job summary

North Freeze Dry, LLC is seeking a Packaging Operator to manage the packaging line in our Little Falls, MN facility. You will load recipes, operate the bagger, conveyor, scales, and palletization, and maintain accurate production records.

The role requires bilingual English/Spanish communication, ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and a willingness to obtain forklift certification. Overtime may be required based on production needs.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Must be bilingual in English and Spanish.
• (2+) Years working experience in a manufacturing/production facility preferred
• Ability to follow proper food safety, quality and workplace safety procedures and requirements.
• Demonstrated ability to follow oral and written instruction.
• Ability to lift to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods of time.
• Forklift certification and experience or willing to obtain.
• Work well in a team environment.
• Mechanically inclined, drive yourself to continually grow and develop your role.
• Ability to adapt and accommodate change.

Responsibilities

• Operates packaging line to meet production schedule and quality specifications.
• Loads recipes and operates packaging equipment including bagger and palletization.
• Maintains logs and uses ERP system to track inventory.
• Follows quality guidelines and sanitation schedules.
• Performs preventative maintenance tasks and reports issues to supervisors.
