Job summary

North Freeze Dry is seeking a Packaging Material Handler in Little Falls, MN to support the packaging line. You will bring product and packaging materials to the line, load the hopper, and manage inventory in the ERP system.

The role requires lifting up to 50 pounds, following safety protocols, and cooperating with the team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The position offers standard benefits and requires basic forklift experience, with training provided if needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 6+ months working experience in a manufacturing/production facility preferred.
• Ability to follow proper food safety, quality and workspace safety procedures and requirements.
• Demonstrated ability to follow oral and written instructions.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships in a team environment.
• Ability to lift at least 50 pounds and stand for an extended period.
• Forklift experience (6+ months preferred), training provided, must be willing to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Produces the required quantity of batched recipes within established specifications and tolerances and according to production plan.
• Maintains logs and records of units produced including a record of errors resulting in rejected/discarded materials.
• Perform pre-operational equipment, preventative maintenance tasks, and process inspections.
• Perform quality and sanitation functions per Quality Program and Master Sanitation Schedule.
• Report maintenance and quality opportunities with shift supervisors and/or managers.
• Interface with plant ERP system to assure inventory control, lot traceability, and tracking.
• Maintains a clean, safe, orderly work area.
