Job summary

NOW Foods is seeking a Manufacturing Maintenance Mechanic I to repair and maintain complex packaging and processing equipment on a weekend shift. The role includes mentoring less skilled team members and supporting plant infrastructure.

Responsibilities include predictive maintenance, electrical and mechanical troubleshooting, and collaboration with engineering and operations. The position requires strong problem solving, safety adherence, and ability to read blueprints and operate shop

Qualifications

AA degree or equivalent plus 2 years related experience OR 5 years related experience.
Knowledge of machine troubleshooting, electrical and mechanical systems.
Food or pharmaceutical industry experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Repair and maintain high-speed packaging machinery and related equipment.
Perform predictive and preventative maintenance per the CMMS system.
Assist Engineering in installation of new equipment and read drawings or sketches.
Maintain spare parts inventory and keep shop areas clean and organized.
Participate in root cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives.
Possibly work other shifts and travel to other facilities.
