Job summary

David’s Bridal is seeking an Alterations Customer Service Representative (CSR) to deliver a five-star experience for alterations customers. The CSR greets customers, books appointments, answers phones, and assists with pressing and pickups, reporting to the Store Manager.

You will collaborate with the Alterations team to explain how alterations enhance wedding outfits, promote services, maintain store standards, and support inventory and checkout processes. Weekend availability is encouraged.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1-2 years retail experience in apparel or specialty store environment.
• Prior sewing experience is helpful.
• Prior experience with computerized POS system.

Responsibilities

• Welcome all customers with enthusiasm over the phone, virtual chats and in person, adapting style to suit customers by problem solving and resolving conflict.
• Use systems to manage customer flow to deliver five-star service.
• Promote alterations services and personalization options.
• Maintain store standards and assist with inventory management and checkout processes.
• Escort customers to alterations for appointments and ensure items are ready for pickup.
• Address customer issues with Alterations Manager when needed.
