Job summary

WRIGHT BY YOUR SIDE IN HOME CARE seeks a Backup Coordinator for after-hours calls, staffing support, and issue documentation when the primary supervisor is unavailable. This part-time role covers remote phone support with on-site fill-in as needed and weekend on-call coverage.

Responsibilities include responding to caregivers and clients, coordinating schedules, and maintaining timely communication. Ideal candidates are reliable, patient, and capable of traveling to patients as needed.

Qualifications

• Must be able to perform duties with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Positive, compassionate, enthusiastic, and patient demeanor.
• Ability to build rapport with patients.
• Ability to lift heavy objects.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and ability to travel to patients.
• Reliable communication via phone or email.
• Previous experience as Scheduler, Caregiver, Home Health Aide, or similar role preferred.

Responsibilities

• Take over incoming calls when the primary on-call supervisor is unavailable.
• Assist with staffing needs and communicate schedule changes.
• Document issues and ensure timely support for employees and clients.
• Maintain on-call readiness and respond to caregivers or clients.
• Be on site within 30-45 minutes if a shift is unfilled.
• Document visits and communications on the Call Log.
• Adhere to company policies and build constructive working relationships.
