Job summary

Wright By Your Side In Home Care is seeking a Backup Coordinator to manage after-hours calls and staffing for in-home care clients. This part-time role covers weekends on-call with remote phone coverage and on-site fill-ins as needed.

You will take over calls when the primary supervisor is unavailable, document issues, and coordinate scheduling while ensuring timely support for staff and clients. On-call pay is $50 per day with $17/hour for shifts worked and mileage reimbursement.

Responsibilities

• Provide normal caregiver/CNA duties.
• Maintain dependability to pick up on-call and last-minute shifts.
• Work days, evenings, or nights on assigned weekends.
• Respond to calls from caregivers or clients.
• Be on site within 30–45 minutes of a call-in if shift is unfilled.
• Document visits and communications on the Call Log.
• Adhere to company policies and procedures.
• Establish and maintain constructive relationships with coworkers, residents, and families.
