Job summary

WRIGHT BY YOUR SIDE IN HOME CARE is seeking a Backup Coordinator to manage on-call coverage for weekends and support staffing when the primary supervisor is unavailable. The role involves monitoring calls, coordinating scheduling, and documenting issues to ensure uninterrupted client care.

The position requires caregiver/CNA experience, strong communication, and the ability to travel to patient sites as needed. Part-time, weekends, with remote phone coverage and on-site fill-in as required.

Qualifications

• Must be able to perform duties with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Positive, compassionate, enthusiastic, and patient demeanor.
• Ability to build rapport with patients.
• Ability to lift heavy objects.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Reliable transportation, valid driver''s license, and travel to patients as needed.
• Previous experience as Scheduler, Caregiver, Home Health Aide, or similar role preferred.

Responsibilities

• Normal caregiver/CNA responsibilities.
• Maintain dependability and availability to pick up on-call shifts over weekends.
• Work days, evenings, or nights on assigned weekends.
• Respond to and accept calls from caregivers or clients.
• Be on site within 30-45 minutes of a call-in if shift is unfilled.
• Document all visits and communications with clients and caregivers/CNAs on Call Log.
• Adheres to and carries out all company policies and procedures.
• Establishes and maintains constructive working relationships with coworkers, residents, and families.
