Job summary

Drucker + Falk, LLC in Columbus, OH, seeks a Maintenance/Service Technician for The Guild. You will perform make-ready repairs on vacant units prior to move-in and respond to after-hours emergencies on a rotating on-call schedule.

HVAC skills with CFC certification are preferred; duties include equipment maintenance, inventory tasks, and keeping the shop orderly. Weekend on-call carries a $400 bonus per assigned weekend.

Qualifications

• HVAC, CFC certification preferred.
• CPO certification preferred.
• Plumbing, electrical and carpentry skills required.
• Knowledge of SDS and OSHA regulations.
• 608 Refrigerant Certification preferred; training available.

Responsibilities

• Perform repairs to make-ready units in a timely manner.
• Be on 24 hour on-call, as scheduled by the Service Manager, respond to on-call paging.
• Assist the Service Manager or Housekeeper with their work if necessary.
• Assist Grounds personnel with trashing out units if necessary.
• Assist the Service Manager with inventory control and utilization of maintenance materials and supplies.
• Inspect property for improvements and repairs and review with the Service Manager.
