Job summary

The Guild is seeking a Maintenance/Service Technician in Columbus, OH to perform make-ready repairs on vacant units and respond to on-call emergencies. Must be on-call 24 hours as scheduled by the Service Manager and maintain a clean, organized maintenance shop.

HVAC, plumbing, and carpentry skills are essential. On-site duties include inspections, inventory control, and assisting the Service Manager, Housekeeper, and Grounds staff as needed.

Qualifications

• HVAC, plumbing, and carpentry skills required.
• Knowledge of SDS and OSHA regulations.
• 608 refrigerant certification preferred, but not required; training available.

Responsibilities

• Perform repairs to make-ready units in a timely manner.
• Be on-call for 24 hours, as scheduled by the Service Manager.
• Assist the Service Manager or housekeeping staff as needed.
• Assist grounds personnel with trashing out units if necessary.
• Maintain inventory control and proper use of maintenance supplies.
• Inspect property for improvements and discuss with the Service Manager.
• Address maintenance requests and ensure timely completion.
• Maintain professional appearance and teamwork with staff.
