Job summary

Drucker + Falk, Llc is seeking a Maintenance Technician (HVAC + General Maintenance) to perform make-ready repairs on vacant units and respond to on-call requirements as scheduled by the Service Manager. HVAC certification is preferred, with additional responsibilities including inspections, inventory control, and coordination with property staff.

The role requires the ability to work in various environments, maintain a clean shop, and ensure safety with knowledge of SDS and OSHA regulations.

Qualifications

• Plumbing, electrical, carpentry skills.
• Knowledge of SDS and OSHA.
• 608 Refrigerant Certification preferred, but not requires. Will train if necessary.

Responsibilities

• Perform repairs to make-ready units in a timely manner.
• Be on-call 24 hours, as scheduled by the Service Manager, with occasional on‑call shifts.
• Assist the Service Manager or Housekeeper with their work if necessary.
• Assist the Grounds personnel with trashing out units if necessary.
• Assist the Service Manager with inventory control and utilization of maintenance materials and supplies.
• Inspect property for improvements and repairs and review with the Service Manager.
• Assist the Service Manager with maintenance requests.
• Maintain the grounds free of litter at all times.
• Operate and perform scheduled maintenance on all equipment.
• Know gas/water meter emergency cutoffs and all shutoffs.
• Paint interior and exterior when required.
• Perform work orders with same-day completion in mind.
